Today was the third day of my shadowing and this day was another one in the OR.

I arrived early in the morning to attend the first surgery of the day which was a Pectus Excavatum which is a surgery that fixes a caved chest with metal bar in the chest.

After the first surgery I followed behind a resident seeing several patients that included babies and young adults. The resident helped explain to me alot of what medical school envolées and the stress you are put under.

I ended the day with seeing another one of the Pectys surgery’s and watched the teamwork it takes.
