1st thing on the agenda was to find which building I was supposed to go to. There were 15 different suites, so it took me 4 tries to find the right building. Once I found the office, I met with Andrew Herrera to talk about our schedule. He asked me to sort out confidential documents and donations so that we could scan them and upload them to the files on his computer.
This is the area where I worked-
After screaming at the printer (not actually) and rebooting the office computer a few times, I finally finished my first task of the day.
The next thing on my schedule was to learn about Curamericas Global and their mission. I discovered that this company has opened 10 different health clinics in Guatemala alone and has helped in the safety of 785 births. They want to transform entire communities through health and hope.
Here’s a miniature model of one of their health clinics that we made today-
Now, and for the next couple of days, I have to create my own presentation about Curamericas Global and format it as if I’m explaining it to someone who’s never heard of the company. Should be fun.
