today I went and talked to Dr. Coven again to chat about my podcast idea more in-depth! we had a great conversation and he gave me a ton of helpful ideas. I also went with will and him to their field trip to WUNC which was super dope!
they were actually broadcasting something as we were touring! and we got to see a recording studio! all the walls were purposefully not made to be perpendicular because that reduces sound. which created these really fascinating and odd looking rooms. That was the coolest part to me, to see the attention to detail they had with sound and preventing reverb and what type of mics they used and all that cool stuff.
oh and I also refreshed (once again) this page to see if any new updates were there. Alas, nothing. better check again tomorrow!
