Goodbye Campitor by Salim Alvi

It’s already May and the school year is coming to an end. Next year everyone will embark on a new journey at Cary Academy, taking new classes and learning new things. Unfortunately, it also means it is time to say goodbye.

I first joined the Campitor in my freshman year in 2020. I remember sitting in my room writing articles and doing interviews over the phone because of quarantine. This club has grown so much over the years. Just this year, we have had articles ranging from CA’s famous wilderness trips to the 2024 Superbowl. I am so glad to have been a part of this journey these last 4 years.

I want to thank my co-chief editor Maya Gupta for all her contributions and effort she put into the club this year. I am happy that I am able to leave knowing the Campitor is in good hands. I also want to thank all the people who wrote in the issues this year. Their passions bring life and excitement to the Campitor. Without the commitment, time, and effort from our writers, this club wouldn’t be possible.

Lastly, I want to thank the readers for all of your support and love. Thank you for allowing us to share our interests to with you, and thank you for taking the time to read about them. I am very blessed to be able to bring you the Campitor this year. I hope you have enjoyed reading our articles and maybe learned something new from the Campitor.

Thank you the Campitor; I can’t wait to see how this club grows in the future!

Signing Off,

Your co-editor – Salim
