1. During Club and Community time you…
   1. Fill your time with every possible club and spend community time worrying about if you need to add another club or extracurricular
   2. Hang out with friends and possibly come in late to G block
   3. Spikeball obviously
   4. Catch up on homework at a table with friends
   5. Rehearse for the play or an upcoming performance in Berger Hall

 

 

2. You finish your lunch early, what do you do next?
   1. Go to the library to study for your test next block
   2. Make Tik Toks in the bathroom with your friends
   3. Play four square on the quad
   4. Stay at your table and talk with friends
   5. Check out the new art exhibit put up around Berger Hall

 

 

3. After school ends you…
   1. Go straight home to study
   2. Hang out with friends until campus closes
   3. Go to sports practice
   4. Go home but spend a good amount of time playing Madden.
   5. Go to singing, acting, instrument, or dance lessons

 

 

4. You get the most excited when you look at the Sage Dining Menu and see…
   1. The salad bar, nice and consistent
   2. Pizza- as many helpings as possible
   3. Chicken tenders to get in that protein
   4. Chicken parmesan, a reminder of the first day of school
   5. Any variety of soups

 

 

5. During Teams meetings with your class, you can usually be seen…
   1. What else would you be doing but paying attention to the teacher?!
   2. Trying to hide your phone as you text your friends
   3. Getting in your reps for your ab workout of the day
   4. Eating lunch and trying to entertain a younger sibling while answering the occasional question
   5. Simultaneously finishing your Spanish project and English essay

 

 

6. If you don’t know the answers to two questions on a ten question test you…
   1. Cry until you realize that your tears are covering up the answers that are actually right
   2. Think “oh well, at least I’ll finish the quiz earlier so I can hang out with my friends!”
   3. Talk to the teacher afterward about how you haven’t had time to study because of all your baseball games
   4. Know that there will be more quizzes and retake opportunities
   5. Write a paragraph about why ‘b’ could be the correct answer but ‘d’ also has potential if we’re living in a multiverse

 

 

7. At GSD, you can be found…
   1. Arriving late because you felt guilty about not finishing all weekend homework on Friday night
   2. In the middle of the dance circle
   3. Not there because you’re in Atlanta for soccer
   4. Hanging out with your friends and teachers on the second floor
   5. Taking pictures at the photo booth

 

 

8. You oversleep and your estimated arrival time at school is 8:25. You…
   1. Drive safely but quickly to school while concocting what the theme of your apology essay will be for your A block teacher
   2. Call your best friend to make sure she let the teacher know- might as well pick up Chick-Fil-A on the way!
   3. Take time to make sure you eat a power breakfast before leaving
   4. Apologize profusely to Ms. Sengelmann and sprint to your class
   5. Use the morning drive to rehearse your solo audition for chorus today

 

 

9. The thing you miss most about going to the physical school is…
   1. The one-on-one time with teachers and being able to work in an environment that isn’t your bedroom
   2. Seeing your friends every day
   3. Spring sports
   4. The face-to-face collaboration on projects and the routine of school from 8:00-3:15
   5. Third trimester excitement and seeing events such as town halls and spirit week in person

 

 

10. At the Homecoming games and matches, you are most likely to be found…
    1. Showing up for school spirit but leaving early to finish homework before Saturday
    2. Attending every game/match/meet and starting the crowd cheers
    3. Playing, obviously
    4. Helping to organize the event and then watching the game/match/meet with your friends
    5. Making signs to hang up and reconnecting with alumni

 

 

If you got mostly A’s…

You’re the library! You are always working to improve yourself and you like your isolation and quiet. You budget your time well and understand the importance of keeping up with schoolwork.

If you got mostly B’s…

You’re the CMS! You’re a social butterfly and never miss a chance to spend time with friends.

If you got mostly C’s…

You’re the FC! You always are able to fill your time with athletic activities and sports keep you busy outside of schoolwork.

If you got mostly D’s…

You’re the Upper School! You usually budget your time well and enjoy a balance of solitude and time with friends.

If you got mostly E’s…

You’re Berger Hall! You are multitalented and enjoy creative pursuits. You are always willing to lend a helping hand and you live by the motto, “the sky is the limit.”

 

 

*Note: You are probably a mix of all of these! Everyone has their own talents and things we need to work on. Just as each Cary Academy building serves multiple purposes, each person has multiple characteristics that make us different:)
