Dear reader,

We finally made it to April.

The last few weeks have been insanity for everyone, and at the Campitor it’s no different. News is updating almost hourly—we quickly found that when covering Covid-19, something written just a day ago might be inaccurate by the next morning.

It’s been a bit of a scramble, but we pulled together this special edition in two weeks, one of our most remarkable achievements to date. I am so ridiculously proud of our assistant editors, Claire Ferris and McKay Lucas, and everyone who worked on this issue, Sydney Nguyen, Jessica Zhong, Will Aarons, Sam Dietrich, and Addie Esposito.

As always, a special thank-you to Ms. Buie for bringing it all together.

We know that you might be stressed, tired, sad, or all of the above. We know the news can be stressful beyond belief. By keeping the Cary Academy community informed, we hope we can provide some peace and comfort in these chaotic times.
