Letter from the Editor

The 2015-2016 school year is coming to a close, and with it comes the final edition of the Campitor! I am so proud of the hard work our writers and editors have done this year and the progress we have made in the past year. In just the last 9 months, we have created our own blog space to house our articles, designed a website theme and new logo, started an anonymous advice column series, and published dozens of articles about everything from Cary Academy clubs to politics and social issues.

However, I know we would never have been able to come this far without the help of a few incredible people, and I would like to thank all of them for their constant support throughout this process. First, I want to thank Mr. Sauls for helping us on the technical side of the Campitor by creating our own email address, helping to set up our website, and designing our new logo. His expertise has been invaluable this year, and the Campitor would never be where it is today without him. I also want to thank Ms. McGauley, our club advisor, for her perpetual support and advice; she never fails to give us her honest feedback and opinions when we are making decisions, and she only has the best interests of the Campitor in mind.

Of course, I especially want to thank my wonderful Co-Editor, Jack Lattimore, and our two hardworking Junior Editors, Divya Vijayakumar and Hope Ferris, for helping to lead the Campitor through all of its changes this year and make our publications as seamless as possible. I have been working with Jack for the past two years on the Campitor, and he has always been an incredibly diligent and responsible leader. I know I speak on behalf of both of us when I say that we are so proud of what we have accomplished with the Campitor and so happy to be leaving it behind to Divya and Hope next year!

Finally, I want to thank all of the readers and supporters of the Campitor; the Cary Academy community is so welcoming and encouraging, and we really appreciate all of the support and feedback you all have given us. None of this would be possible without our readers, and we hope you all will continue to read and support the Campitor next year and in years to come.

Sincerely,

Sneha Advani

Co-Editor of the Campitor
