Letter from the Editor

We are now already well into the third trimester, and with that comes the third (and penultimate) edition of the Campitor! Enclosed in this edition, we have articles on topics from social activism to Cary Academy clubs and organizations to politics. All of us are absolutely thrilled at the diversity of articles we have received as they encompass not only our Cary Academy community but also extend beyond it into the wider world, reflecting the unique perspectives of our student body.

While we may not have any major alterations for this edition, we are continuing the initiatives which seemed to be popular from the previous edition, namely, the advice column and photo collage. However, we are currently in the process of planning a few additional features for our last and final edition of the year, so you should definitely look forward to those. I personally love this facet of the Campitor: that it reflects a constantly evolving medium with the flexibility to change and grow in order to encompass even more student voices.

We also absolutely welcome any feedback on features included thus far or any suggestions for future alterations to the Campitor; we’ve always intended this to be a newspaper for the community, by the community. In order to make this goal possible, we would really appreciate your participation in Campitor’s future so that our changes can best reflect what you’d like to see. You can send any of these comments to any of us on the editorial team or to our Campitor email address: theCampitor@caryacademy.org.

I sincerely hope that you enjoy this edition and the wide variety of articles enclosed within.
