You saw it here first: SADD’s theme of the year is Pay It Forward! After last year’s poignant mock crash, SADD will be focusing not only on awareness and making sure that teens understand the consequences of their actions, but also kindness and putting good out into the world. Kicking the year off with our annual Red Ribbon Week celebration during the last week of October (26th – 30th), we passed out ribbons, baked goods, and (NEW!) Confidence Cards that feature handwritten, confidence-boosting notes. There were also be some surprise red ribbon decorations around campus! Other events this year include: SADD Middle School Outreach, Pay It Forward/Random Acts of Kindness Week, Lights for Life, and SADDlympics.
