Innovation: it happens faster and faster. And it’s unrelenting.
Students must develop the capacity to adapt, retool, and sustain their curiosity. Flexibility, collaboration, and innovation are the keys to successful teaching. Space to work in teams, experiment, and create must be a part of every school.
Twenty years ago, Cary Academy set the educational world on fire as a leader in the use of educational technology. It is time to take the next step and move the school into a bold new phase of national leadership with programs that build on our unique culture to forge an exciting new path forward.
This is why we are thrilled to announce our first comprehensive fundraising campaign to sustain our leadership as an innovative school and boost our educational influence over the next 20 years.
With the completion of the science building, the school will be able to create more mixed-use, flexible spaces that add visibility to the learning process and will give students and faculty the room they need to work independently, in smaller groups, in full classes, and at the grade level. A walk around the Cary Academy grounds elicits a strong sense of being in a place that cherishes learning. The insides of our core academic buildings should match this aesthetic.
