Some of the things I’m thinking that we would discuss in the class are: the benefits of sleep, how much sleep is necessary, why we sleep, napping in general, dreaming, what our dreams tell us, lucid dreaming, sleep patterns, sleeping cycles and tips for getting good sleep. Overall, a class on sleeping would be …fun. Of course we’d also get the opportunity to occasionally take a nap.”

“I’d love it if we had a class focused solely on textile arts. In October, I toured Lick-Wilmerding High School in San Francisco as part of CA’s involvement in the Collaborative for Innovative Education. Lick-Wilmerding is known for its Technical Arts program, and I didn’t want to leave their “Fab Lab” – a classroom dedicated to fabricating with fabrics. I’d love to see a room here with sewing machines, dyeing vats, looms, etc.!”

“If I could create any class it would be a class devoted to free time outside on the Middle School field. Unlike Physical Education Class it would not be as structured and students could also choose to study outside.”
