Band Disney Trip

Disney Band rehearsals

Please fill out reasons for any conflicts, names of coaches/leaders of activity, and a way for me to contact the coach/leader.

DisneyBand rehearsal conflicts

In hopes of minimizing after school time, I want to contact club leaders and advisors about using time starting at 2:45.  If we can do this, we will end earlier after school.

Fri. Dec. 9  from 2:45-4:15 (rehearse, go over preliminary schedule, form chaperone groups)

Fri. Jan. 13 from 2:45-4:15 (rehearse, meet chaperones, plan which parks each day and select fastpasses)

Thurs. Feb. 16 from 2:45-4:15 (rehearse, optional parent Q & A)

Wed. Feb. 22 from 2:45-4:15 (rehearse, review schedule and packing list)

Top 10 reasons to go on the Disney Trip

  1. Experience how music is incorporated into almost every aspect of entertainment in the Disney Parks.
  2. Try recording small ensembles in a professional recording studio at Full Sail University (we hope)
  3. Hang out and ride rides with groups of 3 more band friends (if your parents agree for you to be unchaperoned and check in periodically with a chaperone)
  4. Eat at the Tusker House for breakfast with Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, and Goofy (optional)
  5. Make a soundtrack that goes with a scene from a Disney movie and bring home a DVD
  6. Walk enough to make your fitbit roll-over
  7. Accept the challenge of deciding who gets the beds each night.
  8. Perform small ensembles at a local independent school and play together with their band (we hope)
  9. “Go to church” at the House of Blues’ famous Gospel Brunch (optional)
  10. See Mr. Grush and Goofy side by side, proving they are not one and the same! (So what exactly is Goofy? an anthropomorphized dog? a humanoid?)
