- Go to: https://blogs.caryacademy.org/cawep. Log in using your Cary Academy username and password.
- To add a post, do the following:
- Next, create a subject line that says the day and a title. Example: Day 1- Learning all about Electrical Engineering or Day 2- Following up with some Microscopy, and so on for each day.
- Next, create your post. This should consist of about 100-300 words & some sort of visual media. You can add images or YouTube videos, etc. by choosing “Add Media”. You can add images that are approved for use in the public domain through, “Compflight”. You can add links by choosing the button in green below. Make sure to target the link to a new tab.
- NOW, MOST IMPORTANTLY, ADD YOUR TAGS.
- First add your “personal tag” that allows all of your posts to go to your page: example- 18MichaelM. You will find your tag in the left hand navigation bar on the Home Page .
- Next add your “day tag”. Choose “Day 1”, “Day 2”, etc.
- Add any additional tags, esp. ones related to field, activity, etc. Ex: Law, Medicine, Engineering, etc.
- Finally, for each post you will “Publish” your blog post. Check to see if it has actually landed on your page!
