Pick whatever music is fun for you.  Just don’t leave your instrument in its case for 2 solid weeks!

Meal Sign up (before band concert)

Due by 3:00PM on Monday, Nov. 3

Band Concert Tues. Nov. 4

MS Band and US Band are performing

5:30-6:20 US Band rehearses with guests

5:45 optional meal for MS Band students

6:20-6:35  MS Band rehearses Devil Dance with US Band

6:35 US Band group picture in black box, MS Band tuning

6:40 MS Band group picture in black box and optional meal for US Band students

7:00-8:30  Concert

Combined MS Band classes rehearse during enrichment

Tues. Nov. 4

As both MS Band classes will be performing together, two rehearsals is the bare minimum to make sure we are prepared for the concert. All 7th/8th grade band students are expected to attend unless excused by Mr. Grush.

Make  sure you have the correct outfit and that it fits – white on top, black on bottom.  Black DRESS shoes and BLACK socks  (for men).

What Are We Doing This Week?

Jazz on the Quad, Monday Oct. 20

5:30-7:00

Red, Hot, and Blue  Food Truck begins serving at 4:30 (BBQ, vegetarian option available)

Come eat and listen to our jazz students and the Moonlighters, professional big band!

Performance Outfits

We are changing from all black to white on top, black on bottom.  Black dress shoes and socks.

White and Black Band Outfits

For Jazz on the Quad, Jazz Band will wear black and white and decide on guidelines for ties.

New Repair Shop 

3 of the repair technicians who worked at Marsh Woodwinds for years have now opened their own shop on Capitol Blvd, just outside the beltline.  I plan on using them for our school instruments.
