Playing Appointments for this week

Special Rehearsals
Click link above for details. This week  7th and 8th graders will miss either their 6th or 7th period class for a two period combined rehearsal Tues. 4-4.  Next week US/MS Bands combine 2:30-3:15 on Tues. 4/11 and MS/US Jazz Band combine 9:45-10:35 on Wed. 4/12.

Guest Band Director Mr. Terry Blalock – Tues. April 4
Tuesday band classes are fortunate to have Mr. Terry Blalock working with us. We look forward to getting a fresh set of ears to listen to how we are doing.

Guest Percussionist Alex Skov to work with MS students – Friday, April 7
Alex is in town to play with the NC SYmphony. He has agreed to work with our 6th-8th grade students on 4 mallet or snare drum technique.

PA grades and feedback

  • US Star Wars PA grades from last week are posted in veracross. US Jazz will be done soon.
  • Go to CA musicfirst and read comments from me.
  • If you made lower than an A-, you should do a 2nd try.
  • Either make a recording or see me in person as soon as possible (if you wait, you will forget!)

  • All boys wear a tie (choose your own; have it tied BEFORE you come)
