Drawing for 4 free music lessons at the Musicians Learning Center
The Band Program has been given a gift certificate for 4 free music lessons. The winner’s name was drawn by reverse raffle from a hat (ok, a hat app). In other words, names were drawn out and the final name drawn was the winner.
Practice Journals
Information has been posted on class haiku pages. We will discuss and begin in class this week. Much of the work will be able to be done during class. Weekly reflections are due by the end of the day, on the first day of class each week. Late submissions will receive half credit, so please mark your calendars, planners, mobile devices, sun-dials, refrigerators, and post-it notes to remember each week!
Picture/Plaque Hanging Help Needed
Students are welcome to help, but we really need a parent to head this up. Please let me know.
Free Percussion Clinics on October 5

Trip News
There were less than 25 students who submitted deposits, so we will not be taking the trip as proposed. However, we are looking into possibilities for those who did make the commitment to travel only to New York. I’m sorry that the timing, finances, and/or itinerary were not able to work for more people. Thank you for considering.
