- Band ToDo List 2013-14
DC/NYC Trip meeting for parents – Friday, September 6 at 7:45am in the bandroom.
- This will be a chance to ask questions and make suggestions.
- Committments and Deposits will be due Friday, September 20.
- Dates for the trip are Friday, February 28 – Tuesday, March 4.
- Cost will be $800-$1,000.
- Participation is optional but highly encouraged.
- More information next week. (Hopefully a better cost estimate and preliminary itinerary – say that 5 times fast!)
Look at it carefully, as it has been revamped. The old class pages are now recordings pages. I’ll be adding recordings starting this week. The new class pages are links to the haiku pages (I’ll show MS parents Thursday night)
NCAIS Honor Band 2013 Participation_Agreement
Students who wish for me to nominate them should return the signed participation agreement to me by
Wednesday, September 4. Email to me or give me a paper copy. Don’t know what it is? Ask someone who went last year, or ask me.
Student input needed
- I want to redesign the end of the year band awards and make a point system, so all students know what they need to do if they wish to earn an award.
- I also want to student input in finding oficers that will take initiative to help run the and program more collaboratively.
