1. Read the Band Handbook with your student

2. Read the Band_Calendar_13-14 with your student and mark dates on your personal calendar

3. Read the Trimester Syllabus with your student and mark assignment due dates in your system for tracking assignments

4. Read the Supply List with your student and ensure you have the proper supplies

5. Order a SmartMusic subscription (required for MS, strongly suggested for US)

6. Order a copy of The Little Book of Talent, by Daniel Coyle (paper or electronic)
